Visceral Games and EA have done something that one
of my favorite
developers has not... they have released the third installment in the
Dead Space series,
Dead Space 3, to the masses.

developer first introduced in
Dead Nation and builds on the rock solid foundation they created with that title.
Crafted by a team
of veteran PC and console

Dead Space), Perception (Switch / PC / PS4 / XB1) offers a bold and fresh take on first person narrative games.
Hopefully, Dice decided to take the ladder and not follow the
developers of Dead Space.
Marketing for Battlefield: Hardline, as well as many
of the
developer interviews, have suggested that Visceral Games, coming straight off
of their success with the
Dead Space franchise, have fought to change this, and deliver a hard hitting dramedy, in the style
of Justified, The Shield and other cop shows.
Although I am sometimes cynical
of essentially sub-contracting a franchise out to a different
developer, as a huge fan
of some
of Visceral's earlier work (
Dead Space 1 & 2 remain two
of my favorite games
of the previous consoles and I really liked Dante's Inferno), I have trust this wont be a cowboy operation.
While Swedish
developer DICE has served as the exclusive
developer of the main Battlefield series for the last 10 years, Hardline sees
Dead Space developers Visceral Games getting in on the mayhem.
