The world's AI racers are mostly made up
of Drivatars based on the play styles of your friends and other players.
Forza Motorsport 6 will also feature two player split screen racing according to the site, as well as 24 - player races and the return

But outside of turn one, I was impressed with the driving standards
of the drivatars compared to the previous Forza Motorsport game.

of people who play Forza, and the data is saved to the Xbox Live Cloud, and once you race you'll actually be racing a virtual version
of those people with their driving tendencies.
Like the career mode you can play with up to 24 cars on track, but this time they can be all real players or a combination
of real players and
Drivatars.

of the game, the player will be racing against

In Forza 6, as well as your
drivatar matching your driving style when it comes to driving lines, acceleration out
of corners and general aggression on the road, there are going to be several significant changes including being able to change the way your
drivatar behaves more directly such as more aggressive or casual styles.
Forza Motorsport 5's
Drivatar system is a perfect example
of this, but it's just the beginning - just think how far developers could go.
Drivatars are more likely to be people on your friends list or in your «Club» — Forza's version
of a guild.
It makes plenty
of sense for a racing game to be loaded with social and connected features such as Forza 5's novel
Drivatar system but MGS V's online component?
Drivatar learns your driving habits, good and bad, to create a virtual version
of you.
So over the last couple
of years, with the introduction
of Forza Motorsport 5
Drivatars system and Forza Horizon 2 we learned a lot about how our
Drivatars act and behave.
I'll just highlight that we're really excited about the updates to our
Drivatar system and Xbox Live provides a tremendous amount
of computing power that we can take advantage
of.
Drivatar will track several aspects
of a player's in - game driving (brake points and corner entry, for instance), then create an AI avatar that will be uploaded to the Xbox One cloud.
The excellent visual showcase Ryse impressed many right from day one, despite its repetitive combat mechanics, while Dead Rising 3 by all accounts fixed many
of the problems the series has suffered from since its inception and Forza 5 leveraged the power
of the console to great effect with its hyper - realistic car models and innovative «
Drivatar» AI augmenting system.
The thing is, unless your friends were really, really good at racing games, the
Drivatar system in previous games basically turned some races into rounds
of bumper cars.
If you're someone who enjoys taking hair - pin bends and corners smoothly and carefully, you may find the
Drivatars a bit
of a pain, because they're just as likely to shunt you out
of their way as they are to close the door on a pass attempt.
This is how we know that a lot
of our friends are about the same skill level as us, because not only do their
Drivatars land up in many
of our races but they, like us, don't exactly shy away from colliding with other drivers.
You race against the
Drivatars of other players.
In addition to cruising around your own world with the A.I. - powered
Drivatar versions
of your Xbox Live pals and club mates, Forza Horizon 3 is the most online - friendly entry to date.
Essentially
Drivatars are virtual reconstructions
of everyone playing Forza 5.
Elsewhere, the
Drivatar system is still occasionally shonky and still doesn't consistently deliver on the promise
of «real human brains in AI cars», but these are infrequent problems.
Cloud - powered
Drivatars are really a hero feature
of the Forza franchise, where your friends» driving styles are saved in the cloud for you to race against when they're offline.
Removing assists will give you extra credits at the end
of a race so there is an incentive to make things a bit harder, you can also define how aggressive the
drivatars are as well.
Drivatars continue to appear in and they are great fun to go up against, what I noticed from this year's entry is that although they are more aggressive, it causes them to make more mistakes so you'll take great pleasure in seeing your friends completely mess up during the course
of the race.
