A German insurance giant Munich Re figured out that a night
of earthly pleasures was the best way to keep staff motivated.
Now All Visual Arts (AVA) has opened its fall show Vanitas: «The Transience
of Earthly Pleasures».
And as before, contemporary Vanitas creations are not just about the objects we are facing, but also the similar thoughts they are recalling: the brevity of life and
of all earthly pleasures.
Following the success of Vanitas: the Transience
of Earthly Pleasures and Metamorphosis: the Transformation of Being, presented during Frieze Art Fair in 2010 and 2012 respectively, All Visual Arts is pleased to announce its upcoming fall show entitled Viewing Room.

Vanitas is a term that is traditionally associated with the late 16th and early 17th century still live paintings, but has become more generally linked to any type of creative discipline that meditates on the ephemeral character
of earthly pleasures and worldly accomplishments.
