of Evernote and send them as regular PDFs.
Scannable's features have been folded into the iPhone version
of the Evernote app, so it's uncertain if Scannable will be updated in the future.
If you want to get the most out
of Evernote and OneNote, you need to pay for the Premium tier and Microsoft Office, respectively, and they're tied in that regard.
Finally, if you have a mobile device, you've heard
of Evernote.
Based on research and my own use
of Evernote with GTD, I propose the following.
The most important aspect
of Evernote, especially for personal injury firms, is it allows you to create a shareable database of trial materials that is organized in chronological order.
In future posts we'll discuss how you can really utilize
all of Evernote's features to thoroughly organize your cases and notes, but for now a good place to start would be by simply downloading and installing Evernote to your computer, smartphone and tablets.
And because
of Evernote's powerful searching capability, you can find everything related to your case without having to dig through redwells or by repeatedly thumbing through folders.

Tips and tricks to get the most out
of Evernote.
I am a religious user
of Evernote, so the integration makes sense for me.
Alternote supports much
of Evernote's core features, such as searching by tags and rich - text formatting.
Although CitePin lacks all the features
of Evernote, it has the advantage of having fields designed specifically for lawyers, of allowing full document uploads, and of allowing notes to be shared with colleagues.
In the spirit
of Evernote, I would love to see CitePin add a clipping feature, to make it even easier to add cases and research from a browser.
OneNote can match most
of Evernote's features.
It's a great place to become familiar with Evernote's basic functionality, but it's not as helpful in terms demonstrating the real power
of Evernote for productivity, collaboration and workflow.

The killer feature
of Evernote in my estimation is that it automatically syncs to all your connected devices in near real time.
If you have been a long - time power user
of Evernote, it will take a while to get your data into Notes.
