A recent study by the Society
of Human Resource Managers revealed that 53 % of people have lied on their resume, and 70 % of college students would create a resume fib if it meant landing their dream job.
The report, based on a national poll
of more than 1,000 hiring
managers,
human resources professionals and candidates, also
revealed that half
of employers lack recruitment strategies and jobs are often marketed to the wrong audience.
