A few years ago Larry Bodine's LawMarketing Blog reported the results
of a search marketing
study first
published by Mark Sprague showing that when Internet users search for
legal services they primarily use the keywords «ATTORNEY» and «LAWYER» to search for
legal services online with «ATTORNEY» used slightly more often than «LAWYER.»

The joint
study on «Digital Economy & Law» prepared by the German Association
of General Counsel (Bundesverband der Unternehmensjuristen) and commercial law firm CMS in Germany
published in late 2016 addresses the
legal challenges presented by digital transformation and the effects on corporate
legal departments.
The first is that recently there was a
study published by a collaboration between a couple
of top US universities and professors that stated that our AI is more accurate and significantly faster than the average lawyer at reviewing every day standard
legal contracts.

published the findings
of an empirical
study on how the use
of full - text online
legal resources has changed the way lawyers conduct
legal analysis and how they write.
Previous subjects for research, often involving an international comparative element, have included the contracting
of criminal defence services, innovation in civil services including alternative dispute resolution and a
study of legal aid that included looking at aspects
of provision in the Netherlands, Canada, Australia and the United States,
published in A Strategy for Justice (
published by LAG in 1992).
For example, in
studying the literature about Australian practical
legal training
published during 2006 - 2012 I found 10 articles listed on Google Scholar, World
of Science, and Scopus,
of which only 2 were cited in other literature.
A recent
study published by Robert Half
Legal found that nearly a quarter
of lawyers surveyed said their firms «will increase its hiring
of partner - or senior - level attorneys in the next two years.»
