Also the story
of OOT is way better that botw, where the story is so much fragmented that seems like non existing.
Majora's Mask is not as bad as Zelda II, but the continuation
of the OoT design and the introduction of strict time limits make Majora's Mask a tedious chore to play.
Hyrule 2 happens after the end
of OoT with Link defeating Gannon as and adult and Zelda sending him back in time.
Though it recycled a huge percentage
of OoT «s visual assets in the name of saving development time, Majora's Mask managed to flip the heroic, grand scale of its predecessor on its head and put the character models to use in a scarier, more urgent and, in my opinion, more memorable context that still feels unique not only to the Zelda series, but to all of gaming.
Maybe I'll change my tune when Mr. Miyamoto sends me a 2012 Nintendo Virtual Boy and a copy
of the OoT developed to play in a true virtual world along with my very own replica Master Sword and Hylian Shield... I can see that making things a little more enjoyable.
After a twenty minute intermission, we returned to the main theater to experience Ganondorf's theme; a point at which the final battles
of OoT were shown on the screen.
The Price
of OoT is not surprising but saddening still.
Branch 3: There is no longer a hero in the future
of OoT since Link was sent back.

of OoT as a game, so I will speak about its merit as a 3DS remake.
Maybe you played a version after the first edition
of OoT because everything after that Ganon's blood is green, but originally, in my edition, it's red and just as hardcore of a scene as Wind Waker, if not more so.
I * think * I remember the OoT / Master Quest version
of OoT had very slight graphical upgrades (like the gems being shiny or something).
That makes three splits: one in which Adult Zelda exists, Ganondorf is sealed, and Link is non-existent (the «Adult» timeline), one which picks up at the very beginning
of OoT and leads into MM and the execution scene from TP (the «Child» timeline), and one which picks up from the point at which Ganondorf managed to enter the sacred realm, but in which there is also no Link... which leads to the Imprisoning War from the ALttP intro.
At best, it's a mix
of OoT, TP and SS, but it has more in common with OoT and TP than SS.
[My guess is this is the Link who fell against Ganon at the end
of OoT - this tale is his «redemption» of sorts].
According to Aonuma, Nintendo believed at that time than an annualization of the series would be possible, thanks to Ocarina of Time being in 3D and the models being able to be reused, versus having to draw all new sprites, as Zelda games were 2D before the release
of OoT.

SS was more Oil Painting and flat (ish), Twilight Princess had more
of a realistic tone,
OOT has more
of a Mario like quality to it's style.
All
of these Majora's Mask appearances lately gives me a feeling that we'll be seeing it come to the 3DS (such as
OoT), or like Ashley mentioned, have it remastered on the Wii U. I'm up for either one, since I don't have a Nintendo 64 anymore.
Oot looks that way cause
of the hardware limitations if you look at the remake its way better and close to this artstyle.
I've played all
of the console releases, (outside
of Skyward Sword) Twilight princess and
OOT are my favorites
Then came MM and gave a new and darker twist on the series, used elements from
OOT and added masks and a lot
of new stuff, and was yet again a FANTASTIC game.
I'm very intrigued by the Temple
of Time, which looks exactly like the one from
OoT.
AND the pages show Ocarina
of Time outfits for link and Zelda, so we have, Skyward Sword, Twilight Princess and
OoT costumes a DLC
Yeah, I would agree with you, as a person who started
of with N64, i would agree, i love Sunshine, but i am not sure i would call it better than 64, as for Majoras Mask i think it is better than
OOT.
I loved the feel cell - shaded gave to this back in 2003, I think It represented a better narrative
of the whole sea overworld, I was thankful they didn't use the
OOT because that seemed to fit better in a more Tolkien-esque adventure.
I know people like classic side scroller DK games because well they were great but come on, nintendo is seriously losing their ambitions, playing too safely instead
of trying to revolutionize like what they did with Mario 64, Zelda
Oot and Mario Galaxy.
If this team
of fans can pull it off then omg, this is what I wanted Nin to do a remake on for years after seeing
Oot.
So yeah, if they ever do another BOTW like game, they NEED to have the Shrines be more like the mini-dungeons such as the Ice Cave from
OOT, or just more cool «Test
of Skill» combat dungeons that were a lot
of fun.
Not to mention the fact it looks brighter and closer to
OoT or SS than the drab coloring
of TP.

of the glitches in the
OoT remake, so what the heck, Grezzo?
The combat shrines and a small amount
of puzzle shrines were the only ones I really loved, and honestly I consider most
of the random grottos from
OOT / MM to have more depth than these shrines.
Not a full sequel, but definitely more than a mere v1.5, this game has had a near - complete overhaul that puts the Zelda
OoT: Master Quest version to shame as it as much as quadruples the amount
of content in places, and overhauls much
of the returning content (such as the reworked puzzles, and spoken dialogue being added to a game that was previously text - only).
It's been fiercely debated (read: argued via deafening screaming matches) ever since Ocarina
of Time was released; fuel was only added to the fire when the
OoT manga, while non-canon, chose to support the side
of Zelda actually transforming into a boy for the seven years Link slept through.
But I hope the feeling
of exp BoTW will be better than
OoT for sure.
OoT may seem easy now but it was a challenge when it came out and we had to completely change our train
of thought, playing Zelda in 3D for the first time.
I'll be honest, back in the heyday
of the Gamecube (if there was one), I was one
of those people who viewed the aesthetic leap from
OOT to The Wind Waker with no small displeasure.

of Zelda: Ocarina
of Time Wait, this means Europe is actually the first territory to get
OOT?
The locales, weapons, items, cameo appearances (
OoT's Great Fairies and the evil moon from Majora's Mask), and light puzzle elements reminiscent
of Zelda are all there.
This was expanded massively for
OOT, a space that was large enough to make you feel like you were a small part
of a world that existed around you.
I can't bring myself to say I like Twilight Princess better than Ocarina
of Time as a point
of pride, but I do argue that TP wouldn't be nearly as good had it not had
OoT to play off
of.
I've completed and enjoyed
OoT and all
of the console ones (and some handheld ones) after it, but not LttP or anything earlier.
Since EAD Tokyo worked with Grezzo on
OOT 3D, 1Up now works with EAD Tokyo, and both Grezzo and 1UP basically consist
of the original Seiken Densetsu (Secret
of Mana) team, I wonder if they would team up for a spiritual successor?
People were REALLY upset that it came out and was the most beautiful Zelda game ever, instead
of looking more like
OoT, the most butt - ugly Zelda game ever.

OoT, MM Magic Beans are really handy in Ocarina
of Time because they allow you access to a handful
of heart pieces as an adult if you take the time to plant them as a child.
But 2011 brought with it the magnificent Ocarina
of Time 3D portable remaster, a version
of the undisputed classic that in my opinion added just enough tiny improvements to lift
OoT above the cel - shaded gem.
The King
of the Red Lions states in WW that he is actually the last king
of Hyrule (Daphnes Nohansen Hyrule, or something like that, correct me if i'm wrong) and not the sage
of light Rauru that appears in
OoT.
A spruced - up
OoT clone that took a lengthy period
of time to develop, Twilight Princess fails in several places.
