Disabled workers from factories around the UK will lobby MPs at the rally at the House
of Commons on Tuesday 27th November, urging MPs to press ministers to deliver on the new direction
agreed at Labour Party Conference based on choice for disabled workers and
public procurement to ensure a flow
of work to keep the Remploy factories open.
Agreeing with the earlier decision
of the Court
of Appeal, the Court confirmed that the three so - called «Francovich» conditions applicable to violations
of EU law were applicable to breaches
of the EU Remedies Directive (which provides remedies for breaches
of the EU
Public Procurement Directive).
