I'm looking from feedback from
real parents from all walks
of life, whether they use cloth or disposable
diapers.
The
Real Diaper Industry Association (RDIA) has made available information packets and samples
of reusable
diapers for health professionals working with parents.
Back on April 23rd 2016, the
Real Diaper Circle
of SD&G held the 5th annual Cornwall Great Cloth
Diaper Change.
With all
of the options out there about cloth
diapers vs. disposable ones, formula feeding your baby vs. sticking with the boob, and deciding to eat your placenta vs. tossing it — and the assumption that, in most cases, choosing one thing means choosing only that thing to the exclusion
of all other things, which is totally not how it works in
real life — there is already too much to think about besides how everyone else feels you should decide to raise your kid.
New parents find out
real quick that the biggest bummer
of having a cute, new little blessing in their lives is
diaper duty.
And we've had only a handful
of blowouts and leaking incidents — the
real elastic on cloth
diapers holds everything in better than the fake elastic and leg gussets on disposables.
Especially after reading about others experiences and some
of the very
real struggles many families face to
diaper their children.
