It was a night
of Sock Buns 101 with some fun and fancy Chicago ladies!
And as you can tell, I can't get enough
of the sock bun.
I feel like with the combination
of the sock bun and the bubble necklace I am the ultimate in stereotypical blogger.
Not exact matches
I wasn't aiming to go all Audrey Hepburn on this, but I felt like I should've had a hundred strings
of pearls to match my LBD and
sock bun.
Then you do a
bun with a hair doughnut (or a pair
of socks rolled up).
I do love the comfort
of it and the fact that I don't have to think about my hair the rest
of the day, but I'm not sure on how I look with a
sock bun.
We're rejoicing at the return
of the bright pink lip, made even more awesome by that fanned - out topknot — sort
of like a
sock bun sliced in half.
Now that I think about it, some
of the trends that I love (
sock bun, oversize jewelry, high - low dresses and skirts, neon) will definitely be seen as that when the time comes.
We had a great time getting our
buns on and learning two easy and quick ways
of using a
sock bun for a messy and a polished look.
Take the ends that are sticking out and start twisting them around the
sock bun, securing them at the base
of the
bun and layering pieces on top
of each other to create an interesting look.
