of Switch ports and some new games.

Probably not, but it's nice to see the quality
of Switch ports improving.
What's with
some of these Switch ports?
The wide world
of Switch ports got me excited for new things on the platform, so I asked our excellent community image editors to come up with even better ports.
But since then, I feel like they are steadily improving them and the two more recent games, One Piece Pirate Warriors 3 and Naruto Trilogy, both are great examples
of Switch ports.

of the Switch port was shared, however, but it's safe to say a different studio is handling that port.
It is not as easy to dive into for a newcomer as it is for an experienced player, so the prospects

At least they're realizing that delaying it forever for the sake
of a Switch port is pretty dangerous.
Not exact matches
Since the
Switch has Bluetooth connectivity, a USB - C
port, and an auxiliary
port, it's possible to connect any number
of devices to the console.
Like I mentioned earlier, it's not perfect by any means — the controllers lack headphone jacks, and I've avoided using the
Switch in tabletop mode because
of its flimsy kickstand and bottom - facing USB
port — but I'm guessing Nintendo will release new - and - improved hardware in a couple
of years, as the company has done in the past (think: Game Boy Advance, Nintendo DS).
When I received the Western Digital Livewire Kit for review, I put one in my office plugged into one
of the extra
ports on my Ethernet
Switch.

of porting boardgames (for a reasonable price) to the
Switch is actually a really good one.
Today, Capcom announced that it will release its highly anticipated
Switch port of Monster Hunter Generations on August 28, with a demo
of the game available during E3 this June.
It's true that the
ports may be done to get some quality titles onto the
Switch early on, but I think it's also something
of a testament to both the longevity
of Nintendo's titles, and the quality the Wii U brought to Nintendo's franchises (seriously, the games were great!
Kotaku's resident video game expert (and avowed Bayonetta fan) Tim Rogers made a video answering a bunch
of technical questions people had for him about the
port and the game overall, which I recommend watching if you're curious how the
Switch version stacks up:

If rumors are to be believed, it seems that the Mario Kart and Splatoon titles heading for the Nintendo
Switch aren't entirely new entries, but enhanced
ports of their Wii U editions.
I loved the hell out
of that game and for a long time, I couldn't get enough
of it, and while there was talk and rumours
of Super Mario Maker being
ported to Nintendo

port of Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze for several reasons, the price isn't one
of them.

Porting the game over to
Switch wouldn't just benefit people like me who missed out
of it because it was on Wii U but would help to reinvigorate the franchise before the inevitable Pikmin 4 (which Shigeru Miyamoto has alluded to).
Everything you could want for the
Switch is represented on this list, from Nintendo's big hitters down to innovative indie games, third party gems and even some
of the late
ports that stand out as impressive on the
Switch.
Minecraft is one
of the biggest games
of all time for good reason, and the
Switch edition is a high - quality
port that can easily drag even seasoned players back in — and deep.
While nothing is concrete, L.A. Noire's unprecedented
porting to the
Switch sets the scene for further Rockstar titles to follow, and even though GTA may be a more likely candidate, we hope it is only a matter
of time until we can enjoy the Wild West with Joy Cons.
Having originally released way back in 2015, Pirate Warriors 3's
port to the
Switch has the advantage that it was also released on the last generation
of PlayStation hardware as well as the current one.
