Also, NAFLD (fatty liver — which can be caused from too many carbs) can transiently elevate LDL on

I think that this time last year, on
VLC, improper paleo, I could not have stood to fast — because
of my poor health, and because I couldn't stand coconut oil.
But like you, I find it very easy to comply with
VLC hunger-wise, but when I'm out
of the house, the temptations become too great (beer is my downfall).
