puppies who went through the class were still in their homes two years later, compared to 34 percent
of the pups who hadn't taken the class.
The recommendation
of the American Society
of Veterinary Behaviorists (AVSAB) is as follows: «In general,
puppies can start
puppy socialization classes as early as 7 - 8 weeks
of age.
