Vook offers a contract production service called VookMakers which was launched shortly after
Vook's release.
In past years I enjoyed geeking out with
Vook co-founder Matt Cavnar (who has since moved on) at writing conferences and as a source for some

Vook told me, can be integral to the text itself (such as the workout demos in a fitness book) or a kind
of footnote with more information (such as the scholarly incursions into their text
of Sherlock Holmes stories).

Not only are they having you pay for the possibility

of the biggest features that sets

While the platform itself is engaging and eye - catching, it is the real - time viewing
of the file during conversion to a both ePub and MOBI formats from existing Word documents that could potentially end up setting
Vook apart from other conversion capabilities.
Even more impressively, ebook developer
Vook had two titles standing at the ready, Why Romney Lost and Why Obama Lost, both books having been written, edited, and formatted for digital devices in advance
of the election.
Upon the same - day announcement
of the official voting results, engineers at
Vook simply had to press a button to publish the appropriate title.
Companies like
Vook, Atavist, and Now & Then Reader have contributed to the renewed interest in the essay or pamphlet publishing
of centuries ago, and today, Amazon Publishing announced its effort to bring short stories to the forefront

Vook's ashes, after the latter's acquisition

Vook does not ignore the needs
of authors who are going it alone, offering tools such as this one to enable more effective publishing.
Cavnar did state that
Vook is currently working on finding partners for offering the option to create print editions
of these books.
