I am sorry if this sounds defeatist Arsenal fans, but I think it is purely realistic and we may as well make the best of a bad situation don't you think?

Jeremy thanks for your comments alot
of this i never really thought about before until you provoked me to seek the truth in the word it is what we all should be
doing finding the truth for ourselves God wants to reveal mysterys if we are open to hear.If we have been christians awhile we just take the word
of whoevers preaching or whichever clip we see on god tube its knowledge but not revelation.Because the story sounds plausible we tag that on to our belief for example for many years i believed that the rich young rulers problem was money so the way to deal with that problem is to give it away and be a follower
of Jesus sounds plausible.Till you realise every believers
situation is different so the message has to be universal. So the reason its not about money because it excludes those that
do nt have it and
does nt make room for those that
do have it but
do nt worship it.The rich young ruler was not a
bad person he lived by a good moral code but he made money his idol he put that before God.The word says we shall not have any idols thats a sin and a wicked one.In fact there wasnt any room in his heart for Jesus that is a tragedy. So when we see the message is about Idolatry we all have areas that we chose not to submit to God thats universal everyone
of us whether we are rich or poor.I believe we are unaware that we have these idols what are some
of them that was revealed to me our partners our children our work our church our family i can sense some
of you are getting fidgetty.
Extensive studies
of the content
of American television, for example, have found that television programming repetitively presents a particular and consistent dramatic view
of the world and life: what is good and what is
bad, what has reality and what
does not have reality, what power is and who holds power, how relationships should be conducted, and how one should behave in particular
situations.
I'm not saying that Osama Bin Laden's death is
bad because personally I am quite happy about it, but I
do think that we could have handled the
situation better instead
of taking it too far.
Adultery
does come with consequences you're right because it nearly destroyed my marriage my husband, me as a Christian and as a person who has suffered anxiety and panic disorder all my life, but even that is being dealt with now and both me and my husband believe this is the glory
of God turning a
bad situation round for his glory as our marriage is better than it ever was and my health has improved, Jesus forgives.
I hope that if I was in your
situation that I would have had the courage to
do the same, although I can't imagine what it must have been like to think
of the potential consequences
of being honest and not pretending to have all the answers, and then for the reality to be even
worse.
Jeremy have been asking the holy spirit for his help with this and in regards to the lame man that Jesus healed I
do nt believe that sin was the issue for him just like the blind man was it his parents or
did he sin the answer was neither but so that God would be glorified. What was the sin that may have been
worse for him.The two
situations are related
of the woman caught in adultery the key words being go and sin no more only two references in the bible and will explain later the lame man we see at first his dependency on everyone else for his needs he cant
do it he is in the best position to receive Gods grace but what
does he
do with it.
Does he follow Jesus no we are told he goes to the temple and Jesus finds him now that he has his strength to
do things on his own what his response to follow the way
of the pharisees that is what is
worse than his condition before so he is warned by go and sin no more.We get confused because we see the word sin but the giver
of is speaking to him to go another way means death.Getting back to the two
situations of the woman caught in adultery and the lame man here we see a picture
of our hearts on the one our love for sin and on the other the desire to work out our salvation on our terms they are the two areas we have to submit to God.My experience was the self righteousness was the harder to deal with because it is linked in to our feelings
of self worth and self confidence so we have to be broken so we are humble enough to realise that without God we can
do nothing our flesh hates that so it is a struggle at first to change our way
of thinking.brentnz
I don't doubt that this
situation seems dramatic to the couple involved, but if this is the
worst problem their relationship ever comes across they'll be really lucky, and as an onlooker I just can't muster a lot
of interest.

Over 70 per cent

There is a danger
of thinking thees are exceptions or the 1 % perhaps as you put it but if we are honest, really honest with ourselves the same nature is in us and others that was in those in 1930's Germany, part good part
bad and who knows what we might
do in desperate
situations if there are not some higher principles that we adhere to.
We don't know how we will respond in the
worst of situations (Hitler, Spouse attacked, etc.).
Giroud misses more than he hits, Walcott has NEVER delivered his expected talent, Welbeck will NEVER be the striker to score 20 goals a season Coqellin will NOT go a whole season injury or suspension free, Sanchez and Ozil WILL have down period during the season, all teams have these problems to a greater or lesser degree but most
of the top teams will address these problems and players either inprove or are sold and replaced with better or at least more consistant players, NOT Wenger he keeps
doing the same thing over and over with the same players and he expects a different result but gets the same outvome time and time again, yet its ALWAYS someone else's fault be it the Ref or the linesman or the opposition or
bad luck or whatever and whoever and its NEVER the fact that HE has
done nothing to change the
situation and LOOKS LIKELY to not change it next time around.
I am not sure which
of these
situations is
worse but it
does not fill me with confidence that Arsene Wenger has correctly identified and solved the problems at the club that has seen us constantly ravaged by injuries.
Maybe Devils GM Ray Shero is trying to be forward - thinking by avoiding any
bad contracts that could be headaches in the future, but how
does a team in that
situation come away from the free agent frenzy with just a single signing
of a bottom six forward?
worse of all... how
does a club like arsenal, with a sanchez
situation not go in for a player like douglas costa?
However, there is a risk the board members may be too far away to ne totally aware
of how
bad the
situation is, so I don't agree, that fans shouldn't protest for a new manager and a clear plan for sporting success.
It is certainly not a good thing that the sports injury website physioroom.com shows that the Gunners have more players in the treatment room than all
of our main EPL rivals but I
do not think our
situation is that
bad, especially if the news about Alexis Sanchez being alright to face Man United on Saturday proves to be right.
He was like a lost sheep on the first goal,
worse than a bag
of potatoes on the corner on 2 - 2 (really should've marked Carroll better) and for 3 - 2 he was the direct reason Ospina didn't save it, AND he didn't mark Carroll, being such an obvious goal threat in those
situations.
Just as a fun comparison, Crean had been to the Sweet 16 3
of the past 6 seasons prior to his firing, had actually won multiple regular season Big 10 titles, and inherited a much
worse situation than Alford
did at UCLA.
I can understand that to some extent as we
do seem to be getting hit with the same old
bad luck on the injury front, but I think we have a lot
of reasons to look forward to our next match, especially as our opponents Man United are in a much
worse situation than we are.
It's an accumulation
of problems that led us to this
situation, unfortunately if no one
does anything, I'm sensing that we're only gonna get
worse every year.
Historical fact... while watching ARSENAL TV you tube saw Piers Morgan rant against WENGER, start watching it because thought it was his most recent remarks about ARSENAL current
situation, so why not lets see what he has to say, well he argue about poor results, the
worse we have been since moving to the Emirates, lack
of leadership, poor tactics, underperforming players, but what hit me was when he mentioned our exit from CL against Bayern arguing
did not have what it take to overcome 0 -2 defeat against Bayern.....
He is possibly our best player, the most respected in world football and regardless
of the blatant clickbait that goes on for gullible fans is
doing a good job in a
bad situation.
Are some
of you on here missing a few brain cells as fans There is nothing Arsenal or Wenger can
do with the Sanchez
situation He wants to leave and has been offered 400k a week in wages who in their right mind is going to turn that down as a player As for blaming wenger who has been our most successful manager helped us build a stadium gave us 20 years
of cl football and some
of the best teams the ol has seen Including the invincible and you all have the Gaul to trash the man as if he has
done nothing for the club I suggest you should look at the plastic fans in the Arsenal blogs that have created a toxic atmosphere at the club They attack their own players in a daily basis why would any top player come to s club where the manager the owners and players are shamelessly attached constantly Yet Wenger wins trophies regularly even them that is derided Look at Spurs Liverpool they win fuk all every year yet their fans back then Look at yourselves and all the negativity that you have created striking the club before you blame Wenger for everything I have been a season ticket holder since the 70s and never have I seen our fanbase been so full
of entitled morons who have stopped backing the club and constantly deride the club snd attack it We have the
worst fanbase in football you have made this great club a lagging stock in world football All you now us fans constantly moaning If you don't like Arsenal fc then buy out kronke and run the club or fuk off and support someone else You won't be missed Coyg
A lot
of coaches don't want to risk making a
bad situation worse by demanding a lot from players when things are going south, but Hubie confronts guys and expects that they show improvement.
The fans are being denied any form
of opinion either by the club or by the AKBs, we believe in a dead philosophy that doesn't work, we are getting further and further away from the footballing world elite, we have a dictator who desperately needs to be replaced and the
worst of all is that the fans are the one suffering the most out
of the
situation.
Comparison alone
of Theresa May - Wenger is not
bad as the rest
of the article but that
does not mean we should be out
of political here, exp when political
situation in UK and EU is very
bad and May is one
of the leaders in that (being
bad for her country).
there is no doubting that Arsene has helped to provide us with some incredible footballing moments in the formative years
of his managerial career at Arsenal, but that certainly doesn't and shouldn't mean that he has earned the right to decide when and how he should leave this club... there have been numerous managers at each
of the biggest clubs in Europe throughout the last decade who have waged far more successful campaigns than ours yet somehow and someway each were given their walking papers because they failed to meet the standards laid out by the hierarchy
of their respective clubs...
of course that doesn't mean that clubs should simply follow the lead
of others, especially if clubs
of note have become too reactionary when it comes to issues
of termination, for whatever reasons, but there should be some logical discourse when it comes to the setting
of parameters for a changing
of the guard... in the case
of Arsenal, this sort
of discourse was largely stifled when the higher - ups devised their sinister plan on the eve
of our move to the Emirates... by giving Wenger a free pass due to supposed financial constraints he, unwittingly or not, set the bar too low... it reminds me
of a landlord who says he will only rent to «professional people» to maintain a certain standard then
does a complete about face when the market is lean and vacancies are up... for those who rented under the original mandate they
of course feel cheated but there is little they can
do, except move on, especially if the landlord clearly cares more about profitability than keeping their word... unfortunately for the lifelong fans
of a football club it's not so easy to switch allegiances and frankly why should they, in most cases we have been around far longer than them... so how
does one deal with such an untenable
situation...
do you simply shut - up and hope for the best,
do you place the best interests
of those with only self - serving agendas above the collective and pray that karma eventually catches up with them,
do you run away with your tail between your legs and only return when things have ultimately changed,
do you keep trying to find silver linings to justify your very existence,
do you lower your expectations by convincing yourself it could be
worse or
do you stand up for what you believe in by holding people accountable for their actions, especially when every fiber
of your being tells you that something is rotten in the state
of Denmark
Its right that it is ambition but you should consider the amount
of Money so called Pep has spent because
of oil king owner... You can not go and randomly compare the
situation... Wenger is
bad in recent years but it doesn't mean that Pep is world class... Look at his record??
The
situation doesn't appear to be that
bad in Houston, though there have been numerous reports
of discontent between O'Brien and general manager Rick Smith.
Firstly I
do nt think It was a
bad tackle perhaps a yellow look at the amount
of bad tackles Arsenal suffered through the years and beside that tackle was important he had to
do it to fix the
situation he took one for the team I am sure it was not worth a red card I like xaka and his strength and mind frame
Injured players are literally making the best
of a
bad situation because that's all they can
do, study, recover, rehab and work their way back while healthy players continue developing full steam ahead.
I feel slightly
bad for Holding, he was good OFF the back in positioning ect, but on the ball shocking, he didn't get much help from Ozil and Bellerin who were both absent infront
of him when he lost the ball because he had no one to pass to, I guess it's his fault overall though, if you're in that
situation and can't find anyone just hoof it away don't lose it and give them a chance on goal.
with this
situation, which is undoubtedly Wenger created, the waters are so muddy now I'm not sure things can return to normal... no matter what is said through official club channels, this is clearly their fault... when they rolled the dice with the whole Sanchez negative media spin to protect Wenger, when he didn't start Sanchez against Liverpool last season, (how ironic) they sunk to a new low... it's become too easy to deceive, just think
of all the manufactured lies that have come from the mouths
of Wenger and Gazidis since we've arrived at the Emirates... the only reason we allowed them to happen for so long is that we hoped it would eventually lead to something
of some consequence and all would be forgiven... well I don't forgive them and I certainly won't forget anytime soon... the
worst part is the lies are oftentimes so juvenile that you can only conclude that the club must think that we're a bunch
of intellectually challenged 10 year olds....
maybe you don't understand that Wenger's words are simply an attempt to recover some
of the market value that was lost due to the way they have mishandled his contract negotiations, which means that everyone, once again, knows that we have little to no leverage when it comes to negotiating a transfer... much like we
did with RVP, when we sold the EPL trophy to ManU for less than $ 25 million... any reputable team with a sporting director would never have allowed this
situation to occur again and if they had heads would roll... if handled correctly the
worst case scenario would have seen us get a minimum
of $ 65 million for a player
of his ilk in the present economic climate and we could have used those funds to purchase the best available striker in the early days
of the transfer window... just imagine what outsiders must think about the state
of our team if all you
did was read the headlines... sadly, things might just might be
worse than they think
Okay not really that
bad of situation, maybe one
of our young keepers can shine this season to cement a top spot because I
do nt see cech continuing as long as buffon.
