So what I'm going to recommend (with the exception
of buying one or two Bravados ahead
of time, which seems to be universally recommended) is just my opinion, based on the limited number
of different nursing
bras I've tried.
My favorite is the Anita Maternity Women's Softcup Nursing
Bra because it unclips easily and is made
of microfiber
so it dries quickly and is more comfortable to wear than all
of the other nursing
bras I tried.
I hadn't brought my pumping
bra, and my arms were still weak,
so my husband held the flanges to my breasts while a pitiful amount
of colostrum dripped into the containers.
What I did with this kind
of hands - free
bra was push my shirt UP and pull my
bra cups DOWN (I always wore nursing
bras even if I wasn't «nursing» per se,
so it wasn't difficult to do this.)
This is quite common
so only buy a couple
of bras up front and get fitted again once your milk supply is established.
