Members of the Oneida County team attended an Information sharing Certificate Program late 2014 and were recently admitted to the Center for Juvenile Justice Reform Fellows Network following the
approval of their capstone project.
In addition to the Common Core state standards, career - readiness standards for engineering and technology are also incorporated into
several of the capstone projects at MC2 STEM.
The process includes supporting the participants in leading an equity - focused initiative or district challenge in the
form of a capstone project supported by national experts.
The
purpose of the Capstone Project and Portfolio is to demonstrate professional growth along the continuum of teacher leadership as captured by the Teacher Leadership Competencies through three pathways into teacher leadership:
The combination of YouthTruth survey results and other assessment data helped spur a new school - wide approach to grading, and the
creation of Capstone projects for seniors focused on integrating learning across subject areas.

price of your capstone project includes the attendance of your individual supervisor, the Program Director, MFT Practicum Coordinators, and the Executive Director at your final capstone, as well as the preparation classes and administrative oversight over all competency evaluations.
