Arsenal will always be short
of a few players here and there but we have come a long way since the days of denilson, squillaci and Almunia.

an inversion
of at least 100 millions in 3 WC
players so you would not have to spend money in 2 or 3 windows plus the revenue obtain in merchandising not to mention battling for trophies would have made us the team Europe think we are but have not been... lack
of ambition has left us in a shambolic position
here and in europe so I do welcome a transition to manager and
players (happy to wait for
few years) but at least change is made.
I think regardless
of them having an off game
here and there they are world class and there's
few players out there that we could get to replace them with.
few weeks back there was an article on
here about injured
players coming back and helping at the tail end
of the season; the article was big on Wilshire and I commented saying Welbeck will be the one I will most look out or because he offers us something different upfront, either as a striker or on the wings, I also said Wilshire does not register on my radar not because he os not good but simply because we have better
players in his role and he has not been missed one jot....
Olivier Giroud was also convinced by Arsene to come
here and despite not being the WC CF we all hoped for, he is one
of the
few players that are always trying.
I doubt if some people
here ever watch Arsenal's matches. How on earth could you ever rate Gabriel ahead
of the BFG someone that has rearly been tested.its sad that people unde - rate someone that his combination with Koscielny has given us one
of the best defense in recent years.some would even rate vermalin ahead
of Mertesacker even when it was obvious that the former has lost it.This guy was voted
few years back as the second best
player of the entire season only behind the outstanding Rambo. If Gabriel wants a starting berth he needs to prove it 1st and not get it on a platter
of Gold..
Snatching big names coveted around is start, selling a
few players (3 - 5) that should not be
here next season to add to the rumoured «war chest» is another... Let's wait and see... he knows and so does the club that the fan's patience towards the lack
of trophy is paper thin as well that missteps will likely not be forgiven.
Chelsea, Spurs and Man Utd all let in far
fewer goals than we have... so the odd goal

In the midfield, (including RWB & LWB) we have a whole bunch
of tweeners... none offer the full package, none make sense in our manager's current favourite formation, except for Sead on the left and Ox on the right, and all
of them have never shown any consistency for more than a heartbeat... Sead, who I'm including in this category because
of our present formation, looks like a positive addition, minus his occasional brain farts, but I would rather see what he could do in a back 4 before making my mind up... Ox, who has never played better, which isn't saying much considering his largely underwhelming play in previous seasons, seems to have found a home in this new formation; unfortunately, can we really expect this oft - injured
player to handle the taxing duties that come with said position over the long haul, not to mention, it looks like he has no intention
of staying... Ramsey has relied on the empathy that stems from his gruesome injury years ago and the excitement that was generated a
few years back when he finally seemed to put in altogether, but on the whole he has been a big disappointment (neither he nor the Ox have scored enough to warrant a regular spot)... Wiltshire should be put on a weekly contract then played until he suffers his first injury, if and when that occurs he should be shipped - out and no one should very be allowed to say his name on club grounds ever again... Elnehy & Coq are average
players who couldn't make any
of the top 7 teams currently in the EPL... both have showed some great energy on the pitch, but neither are top quality and no good team can afford to have that many average
players on their bench playing the same position, especially with Coq's injury history / discipline concerns and Elheny's headless chicken tendencies... as for Xhaka, his tenure
here so far has been incredibly underwhelming... we know he has some skills to provide the long ball but his defensive work is piss poor and he gives the ball away too cheaply and far too often... finally, the enigma himself, Ozil, so much skill with his left foot but his presence has been more frustrating than uplifting... in many respects his failure has been directly related to the failure
of this club to provide him with the necessary
players up front, minus Sanchez
of course, and unless something drastic happens very soon his legacy will be largely a negative one (much like Wenger's)

There would be 2 that I would like

you can all try and convince yourselves he will become a better
player here but at the end
of the season we struggle to make top four and take a
few more beatings i should hope youll finally see that wenger is now too stubborn too lead us too success... thanks for everything that youve done but please move into only coaching and allow another manager to come in and handle transfers as you clearly do not know whats needed in order for us to compete!!

of cl football and some
of the best teams the ol has seen Including the invincible and you all have the Gaul to trash the man as if he has done nothing for the club I suggest you should look at the plastic fans in the Arsenal blogs that have created a toxic atmosphere at the club They attack their own
players in a daily basis why would any top
player come to s club where the manager the owners and
players are shamelessly attached constantly Yet Wenger wins trophies regularly even them that is derided Look at Spurs Liverpool they win fuk all every year yet their fans back then Look at yourselves and all the negativity that you have created striking the club before you blame Wenger for everything I have been a season ticket holder since the 70s and never have I seen our fanbase been so full
of entitled morons who have stopped backing the club and constantly deride the club snd attack it We have the worst fanbase in football you have made this great club a lagging stock in world football All you now us fans constantly moaning If you don't like Arsenal fc then buy out kronke and run the club or fuk off and support someone else You won't be missed Coyg

Fer is one
of the
few Queens Park Rangers
players who may be in demand by Premier League sides in the summer, and despite a mixed campaign, he demonstrated his class
here with some energetic midfield play and this fine finish.
Xhaka never impressed in bundesliga but was in their team
of the year and also captained his club at the ripe old age
of 22 similarly ozil was one
of the best
players in the world when he was in real but
here he is being ridiculed match after match i won't be surprised when people start to criticize kolasinac after a
few matches Over the last
few years Wenger has developed the ability to turn quality
players into crap aka arshavin, ozil etc
Don't have much info and knowledge like you people
here, but there were
few things that I did realise yesterday, lack
of presence
of mind, one instance which I could recall was when, Ramsey had a chance to pass it to fellow mates and instead he went for the glory and finished on the side net...... secondly we might say Fabianski made it tough for us...... well when you have a clear chance to score a goal, how can you hit a ball straight to a keeper from 15 yards...... I like Ozil but when an opponent team parks a bus, he becomes less
of a
player he is.......
If Floyd makes the finalists, it won't be the end
of the world, but he and Woods are the only
players here who have averaged
fewer than 8.4 yards per target.
I don't think it's about selling
players, we need to open space up alright, but I'd sell the ones who are serially
here after every seasons failure, make example
of a
few.
There have been many comments over the last
few years that Arsenal simply don't have any leaders on the pitch, someone who can take the game by the scruff
of the neck and cajole the
players into fighting for every ball when we go a goal down, a Tony Adams for example...... Read the full article

Giroud is a beast that needs to be let out
of his cage, but you keep him tame with a
few bench sits
here and there when other
players are performing better, but in most cases he delivers, especially off the bench.
You can always argue about a
few players here and there but for the most part England's squad is made up
of deserving
players.
We've been
here before, our Armchair GM draft boards made out watching a certain

Here are some
of the
players which the two clubs will be battling over in the next

of them good enough to start from the moment they arrive.
which is certainly not a slight on the young french national
player; like him or not, Sanchez has provided some real world - class performances for club and country in recent years... if you do this move, you need to really clean house or face some serious consequences for the foreseeable future... half measures are rarely rewarded, that's how we got
here... tear down the wall... we need to get rid
of Giroud, not because he isn't a talented
player, his skill - set simply doesn't make sense if we hope to maximize the offensive potential
of a quick passing, one - touch scheme... we need to evolve, like Barcelona, who realized you needed to have clinical finishers or face a mind - numbing future
of horizontal passes and largely ineffective crosses... Barca went and got Suarez, even though they had Messi and Neymar on the roster (just imagine the possibilities — another in the litany
of Wenger «what ifs»)... we need to be as clinical in the boardroom as on the pitch... accept nothing less or move on... personally I would move on from Welbeck, Giroud and Walcott, even Ox if he isn't all in... I think the most intriguing
player might be Perez, which runs counter to the thoughts in my head when he arrived late last summer... we need a deep lying DM with quick feet and long ball potential, midfielders who can counter quickly even when they are spread out and 4 or 5
players who know how to attack the lanes (kind
of a cross between Barca, Dortmund and Monaco)... this is seriously an achievable goal, one that logically should have been achieved quite a
few years ago... did no one in the Arsenal organization see the financial restructuring
of the football universe... think
of the
players we could have had but we weren't willing to cough up the dough only for those individuals to have their value double or triple within a 12 to 24 month period... even if just from an investment perspective these «no deals» represent a failure
of monumental proportions... only if you cared,
of course
Most
of the comments on
here are opinions and I respect everyone's right to express their opinion, but when someone says that the manager should not be held responsible for the mistakes
of the
players and he changes the
players and they make the same mistakes, surely then we can all agree that the manager must be held responsible for the
players he not only chose to buy but now has no choice but to persist with and as for the
few good performances, how long do we have to wait before we get a full season
of consistently good enough performances that would give the fans (not the deluded ones) any belief that this truly great club can rise up from our sleep walk into further mediocrity.
There are a decent number
of players still available who I would like to see them draft
here, as well a
few I'd just go nuts for, including Jordan Willis, who I was very close to taking before ultimately deciding Davis was too good to pass up at 58.
I have no idea how Arsene Wenger is going to get the Arsenal
players up for the final
few games
of the Premier League season, but the Frenchman needs to find a way to inspire the Gunners and be quick about it, or the campaign could end not only in disappointment but disaster if we crash out
of the Champions League for the first time in the reign
of the prof.... Read the full article

Which is the lack
of game time that a
few Arsenal
players are gettning (speaking mostly in reference to Chambers, Gibbs and Campbell) im paraphrasing
here but the basis
of his argument is how do you expect a
player to be able come
of the bench and be capable
of doing a job for team and perform competently with a very limited or no game experience... Considering we have Chelsea at the weekend it seems t would be a great time to start giving those
players game experience and resting a
few of the starting 11 perhaps with the exception
of Walcott i'd like for him to get more game time at Cf... his finishing is diabolical... and learning how to pay as a striker takes time.
To be honest he has been saying for some weeks that he doesn't know when Cazorla will be back, so it was a bit
of a shock to read that one
of our most important
players (according to a Poll on
here a
few weeks back) is actually in need
of surgery on his Achilles, and it could keep him out for at least 3 months according to Sky, and maybe even the rest
of the season.
Some
players have been
here for too long and have either never reached there full potential or simply aren't good enough (no matter the talent after a
few seasons you are what you are and what the stats suggests you are) 3 - The point mentioned above is to free up some wages for the extension
of our best
players, but also recoup some money for say Walcott or Giroud that will never sell as high as now.
Check out maps No. 6 through 9
here, which point out a
few things: Champions come from areas with lots
of good
players, the best
players are hugely clumped together in the big three states and the SEC and Pac - 12 are operating at enormous geographic advantages.
Please none
of you slagging off the
players, come on
here in the next
few weeks saying how fcuking great they were in the next
few games.
The truth is do, we are talking about a whole squad
here, and yet I had to put a fair bit
of thought into mentioning a
few comments on only four current
players.
Minus some flashes from both Sead and Iwobi, and a workingman - like effort from Elneny, we learned very little... so
here are a
few of my observations from today's game, which highlight my concerns about this team moving forward... the fact that Mertz started this game, regardless
of our injuries or those being «rested», should be a serious red flag for any true Arsenal fan... if Wenger is preparing to use Mertz with any regularity then the whole thing is a moot point because we are in deep shit... the fact is no quality team would ever have this tin soldier anywhere near there starting eleven except to groom their youthful
players, who in turn should be playing in this type
of game instead... I can only hope he was simply throwing him a bone for the FA appearance and for agreeing to stay on following the season, but I think the most likely answer is that Wenger's fragile relationship with the fan - base can't be ignored so he felt his experience was a safer bet... unfortunately not a positive choice for a team trying to move forward (same old, same old)
A
few days ago I posted a comment on
here and noted how AFC always seem to lose ground and our way once the heat is on... how we lack the mental strength and character to deal with pressure
of maintaining a lead once we are top
of the table and how we ALWAYS crumble when it matter most... i also noted how we ALWAYS seem to regain our mojo soon as we are out
of contention for every important competition, when we go on some amazing winning streak, just in time to snatch the 4th place trophy... as is the norm on
here and many other AFC fans forum i got member jumped down my throat, talking about negative fans, talking about new
players we have and how that problem was a thing
of the past....
How about most on
here have never seen their club ever finish outside top 4 in their lifetime stop talking like were the worst club in the world with no hope
of moving forward we our only a
few pieces
of the jigsaw to be a great team again but it don't happen overnight weve only had 2 years
of beign able to really compete financially and with all our
players leaving beforehand it will take time to build a team
of wc
players again we are now able to start building a proper team is what I'm trying to get at and it won't happen overnight Coyg
With time ticking until the transfer window slams shut at the end
