Players will be able to explore a brand new world by themselves or with up to three friends and fight it out with a diverse
set of giant beasts.
Based on a 17th century collection of fairy tales by Italian author Giambattista Basile, the film weaves realistic and fantastical elements together into three different storylines, one of which involves Salma Hayek eating the
heart of a giant beast.
Though the sequel features far more
footage of the giant beasts, including a spectacular nighttime scene in which one of the bioluminescent creatures ejects phosphorescent spores into the desert sky, the story remains stubbornly focused on relatively uninteresting human concerns.
It turns out, however, that Project Cars 2 has an original orchestral score by a composer named Stephen Baysted, who has a couple other racing game scores under his belt (in addition to the score to the TV series «Secrets of the Dead:
Graveyard of the Giant Beasts,» which I must now absolutely track down).
Ken, R. Mika, and Ibuki will each receive a new costume based on one
of the giant beasts from Monster Hunter: World in the coming months.
