Great Bibles; but it has long been out
of print, and it
covered by no means all the literatures.
It is
great to read through all the comments and see so many I agree 100 % with — longtime reader
of your blog but have never commented, happy to see your familiar kitchen counter figure prominently on the
covers of your
book... all my most popular recipes come from your blog, they're the perfect combo
of being easy to make and yet still sophisticated and wonderful.
The
greatest virtue
of the
book, apart from the clarity
of its recipes, lies in its organization: the chapters, which
cover all baking stops, begin with relevant tips, followed by notes on equipment and techniques, all photo - illustrated.
For a
great basic
book that
covers a variety
of different topics related to weaning, be sure to give this one a try.
What I love about this
book is that it not only
covers a wide range
of situations that most parents find themsleves in and provides several possible solutions for each situation, but it gives us a
greater understanding
of a child's behavior, motives, and development in the context
of the situation.
From morning sickness to eating to prevent postpartum depression, pre-pregnancy nutrition, breastfeeding, blood sugar control and gestational diabetes, and getting the support you need, this is a
great preview
of all the
great information in Tarah's
book and the topics she
covers on her blog.

of a
book buyer.
But if other
books prove that yours
covers an area
of interest, and at the same time you have a unique slant on the topic, you may have identified a
great opportunity.
Ask successful authors what single method guarantees
book sales, and the answer isn't «
great editing» or a «knock - em - dead
cover», but the power
of their email list to enthuse readers, make their
books visible and generate reviews and sales.
It is a very paltry %
of indie authors that write good
books, get ISBN numbers, hire an editor and have
great cover art.
Along with an eye - catching design, this
cover employs a
great subhead to help the reader know the benefit
of reading this
book.
And, people should know your
book is worth reading because
of the
great cover you so cleverly chose.
Now a lot
of Kindle publishers have pointed out that you need to have a good (even
great)
book cover and I agree with them.
My last publisher, Belfire Press, hired a

of.
While we also
cover social media, virtual
book tours, public speaking, and other tactics, I want participating authors to benefit from the fact that legitimate, traditional media outlets still carry a

Even flogging off a couple
of thousand copies
of a title with a
great cover, or with the aid
of a potent sponsor / reviewer, does not a good
book make — all it does is prop up the grand illusion.

great if it can also truthfully represent the
book, but it's always better to use a powerful
cover that doesn't quite represent the
book accurately, but doubles your sales, than it is to represent the

of exact details and pictures and scenes and meanings that you can explain and talk about for an hour but nobody else gets (or even likes).
