of the audio commentary track by director J.C. Chandor and producer Neal Dodson (which is actually quite informative), they're not worth your time.
The
Margin Call director went out
on a limb with All Is Lost by making a film with one character and almost no dialogue, but he stuck the landing and critics have taken notice not only
of Robert Redford's performance but
of Chandor's direction.

of thespians, his latest picture features only one man, one boat, and the ocean.
