To be honest I would take either or as long it meant we definitely got a
striker in the summer as at least it would
give a bit
of new life to the forward line, even though a more proven
striker would be more ideal.
For one thing he is a different type
of player and
gives Arsenal a completely different option up top, unlike Theo Walcott who maybe should be the player that Arsenal are looking to offload now that we have this
new striker with pace and plenty
of goals.
Lets
give the transfer window a breather and concentrate on the current like our mis - firing team, lack
of dominance at the Emirates, injuries, tactics for the next games, our
new striker Own Goal (OG), a chant for Cech, etc..
But, he should have had another 2 before he scored, I think we need to be patient with Theo, people attack him for not making the correct runs or lacking the instinct

Giroud turned 28 today (Tuesday) and is currently sidelined with an ankle injury that has ruled him out until the

I don't want to be misconstrued here; I will wholeheartedly welcome a
new striker who will
give us another 6 - 12 PL goals, and our overall chances
of winning the league will undoubtedly increase (assuming
of course, all things being equal, there are no adverse effects to the team overall with a
new face scoring more goals — weakening us defensively, not linking as well with others, dressing room morale etc).
