The questions are asked at the
end of a unit of instruction, and the results are often analyzed months after the students have moved to another grade.
Assume, for example, that a teacher has identified the topic of fractions as the
focus of a unit of instruction and has provided students with a rubric.
At the
end of each unit of instruction, my students complete a survey consisting of two questions: (1) Which assignment / activity did you find most helpful in enhancing your understanding of the major themes of this unit?
