With respect
to this premise, a team
of collaborators and I, after a decade
of analysis and exploration, sensed the need
of creating an open collaborative environment that promotes a multidisciplinary approach
focused on understanding the different challenges and questions arising from the combination
of technology and
access to justice.
If we're serious about
access to justice, then our
focus should be on reducing all
of the inherent inefficiencies in the litigation process — not
to mention societal inequities generally — and not on producing more lawyers who can't even afford their own services.
