I used 1 cup
of almond meal and 1/2
coconut flour, honey, I mixed
coconut oil and olive
oil in a 1/4 cup and I added
additional egg and half
of a banana (plus the rest
of your ingredients
of course).
I reserved a bit
of the dry mixture to sprinkle on top, with
additional coconut oil on top to help it brown, and then a dusting
of turbinado sugar.
I added a little bit
of oats, and threw in a little
coconut oil for
additional moisture because
of that.

If you are sensitive to eggs than I would recommend adding in 2
additional tbsps
of butter / ghee or
coconut oil.
Push vegetables over to the side
of the skillet, add the
additional teaspoon
of coconut oil.
I made the following changes that I believe improved it to my taste: 2 c. red lentils to create a thicker consistency, curry powder,
additional bay leaves fresh from the tree, a tomato chopped, 1 can
of roasted red tomatoes (diced), turmeric, extra carrot, celery and garlic sautéed in a combo
of coconut oil / olive
oil.
This time I used
coconut sugar, added 1 teaspoon
of cinnamon, did 1/4 cup
of peanut butter and 1/4 cup
of coconut oil, and lastly added an
additional 4 tablespoons
of milk to have a creamier cookie dough which resulted in AMAZING cookies!
If the peanut butter dip is too thick add an
additional tablespoon
of coconut oil.
Add an
additional tablespoon
of coconut oil if needed to make the chocolate dip thinner.

Fat does not trigger the same satiation mechanisms as carbohydrates do, and if one adds in an
additional 3 tablespoons
of coconut oil per day, that is about 360 empty calories.
Add
additional melted
coconut oil or broth
of choice if necessary to make bean mixture smooth.
If you do decide to use
coconut flour, add an
additional tablespoon
of coconut oil to prevent them from being too dry.
I'd say use vegetable
oil in place
of the
coconut oil and add in an
additional 1 tablespoon chia seeds:)
additional / optional toppings: a drizzle
of coconut cream or olive
oil, a handful
of toasted pumpkin or sunflower seeds
I might recommend adding one
additional TBS
of coconut oil and a DROP more
of almond milk to make up for the missing liquid in the recipe.
If you need to find
additional sources
of fats to satisfy the macro requirements, you can go for avocados or
coconut and olive
oil.
I'd much rather see someone get
additional energy from
Coconut Oil, as it's so easy to turn into energy — doesn't even require bile salts, or do a carb up day consisting
of only lean proteins and carbs — no fats for this.
Unlike the more refined processed types
of virgin
coconut oil current in the marketplace that are using wet milling, fermentation or expeller press extraction which require
additional heat and use centrifuge spinning (known as
oil polishing which reaches high heat during processing) to further clean and filter the
oil.
While
coconut oil and other nourishing foods can support thyroid health and healing, soy - fed babies may need the
additional help
of replenishing thyroid hormones to optimum levels, preferably with natural thyroid hormones.
I am eating pretty close to PHD now but use moderate amounts
of olive
oil instead
of coconut or butter and add psyllium husk for
additional fiber.
