The fried plums were a fantastic complement to the oats while the final touch
of the almond butter on top was a real treat.

Her description
of the cake intrigued me, because while it started with a simple white
butter cake, once the cake was baked you immediately spread a sweet
almond mixture
on top and then the cake was further baked until the
almond topping turns wonderfully caramelized and crispy.

Another favorite is a slice
of toasted gluten - free sourdough bread with a good slather
of Justin's
almond butter and some berries
on top of my favorite smoothie recipe: coconut milk, blueberries, 1 - 2 tbsp.
Simply spread
almond butter or peanut
butter (I prefer
almond butter)
on your choice
of toast, and add generous scoops
of chia jam
on top.
I like rice cakes with peanut
butter, perhaps
topped with a few banana slices and some sliced
almonds, or rice crackers with cheddar cheese chunks, or lactose free yogurt with a sprinkle
of chia seeds and 1/2 cup blueberries
on top (Green Valley lactose free plain or vanilla should be okay).
Spread a a generous dollop
of the high - protein combo
of Greek yogurt and
almond butter on top, then finish it off with sliced banana and cinnamon.
They have just the right amount
of banana flavor & next time I will try a little
almond butter on top, just for an extra treat!»
