almond crops are currently responsible for making the current extreme draught conditions even worse because they are such a water - intensive crop in an area that does not naturally have sufficient water supply, so please consider using other
nuts and seeds instead, as CA is currently the only major source
of almonds in the world (if you're able to find a small, local / non-CA supplier, wonderful!).

There's also an amazing amount
of plant protein in here too from the
almonds,
nut butter and pecans so each bite will energise you, leaving you feeling awesome instead
of lethargic, while the dates dose you up on iron and fibre and the coconut oil gives you anti-inflamatory goodness!
Sometimes I use a peanut butter instead
of cashew, or a packet
of mixed
nuts instead
of almonds and it's just as delicious!

nuts instead
of 8 though.
I love mine with
almond butter, fresh berries and a squeeze

We use pecans, cashews,
almonds, and peanuts (technically a legume, not a
nut) as part
of our core ingredients.
I split the
nut / oat mix in half and made one batch with a scoop
of almond butter and a bit
of coconut oil and they are so good!
For this recipe I chose Southern Grove
Almonds, Cashews and Pecan Halves for the mix
of nuts.
However, if you have diabetes / pre-diabetes and you are including bananas as part
of a whole meal then I would just balance them with some healthy fat (avocados,
nuts, etc.) You could have a banana on top
of a piece
of sprouted whole grain toast with some
almond butter and that would be a good option.

of toppings, including: India Tree nature's colors sugar sprinkles in marigold, dried cranberries, dried tart cherries, salted
