Fending for myself at an

While the growth
of the approved program models will lead to more
parents receiving this critical
support during their child's
early years, many families will still not have access to high - quality research - based programs.
Adult survivors may find it difficult to develop an adequate
support network to help them cope with the stresses
of early parenting.

West Virginia surveyed
parents of children under 3 years old and home visiting staff on how families are being
