They are full
of anemonefish such as the western clownfish, or «Nemos» as they have become better known.
Diving Menjangan Island in northern Bali will yield some steep walls as well as coral gardens, plenty colourful reef fish, a surprising number
of anemonefish... and quite often — turtles.
We then visit Negeri and Bualo on the southern coast of Manado Tua where we meet nudbranchs, an anemone shrimp, leaf scorpionfish, damselfish, along with different species
of anemonefish, a red fire goby and a Christmas tree worm.
Prolific anemones harbour a permanent populace
of anemonefish, but with plenty of other fish species to give it a truly cosmopolitan feel.

We are still exploring and have already found many seahorses, frogfish, ghost pipefish, mantis shrimp, nudibranchs, pipefish, a variety
of shrimp and other crustaceans, saddleback
anemonefish, long horned cowfish and much more.

Though the soft corals and fish diversity are not quite as good as some

anemonefish that can be found here, especially on the reef top.

of submerged limestone rocks and big boulders that are carpeted with pink and gold anemones hosting pink spinecheek
anemonefish.
