Many others would agree on the second point, arguing that confession
of the apostolic faith means much more than confessing the creed — whether that «more» involves sacramental unity or acting on behalf of justice.
My own approach has been to dig deeply into the core of my own tradition and to find there surprising convergences with other Christians drawn from the great heritage
of the apostolic faith and the inspired Holy Scriptures we cherish in common.
