Spread beans evenly over entire surface
of wraps.

Parmesan Roasted Chickpeas Inspired by Woman's Day magazine 2 (15 ounce) cans
of chickpeas (garbanzo
beans), drained and rinsed 2 tablespoons olive oil juice from 1/2 a lemon (~ 1 1/2 tablespoons) 1 tablespoon dried oregano 1 teaspoon dried rosemary, crushed 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder 1/2 teaspoon sea salt 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper 1/2 cup grated parmesan After you have rinsed and drained your chickpeas,
spread them out on a paper towel to dry.
Oh, and melted cheddar cheese on a thin
spread of refried
beans.
Toss black
beans with remaining 1/2 tsp olive oil, cumin, paprika, and another sprinkle
of salt and
spread on the other half
of the baking sheet.
Next, spoon the refried
beans on top
of the cream cheese,
spreading it evening over top.
Let everyone assemble their own sandwiches as follows: Layer tomatoes on slices
of bread, then dollop a generous amount
of the
bean mixture over them (you can do those steps in reverse order as well —
bean spread first, then tomatoes).
What I used for the
spread: 380 g or 1 pack
of black
beans in brine, rinsed (about 3 dl cooked
beans) 100 g cashew nuts 1/2 dl water -LSB-...]
Rather than solely containing lamb shaved off a vertical broiler, this version uses a few slices
of grilled leg
of lamb steak, filled out with ful mudammas, a garlicky, zesty Middle - Eastern
bean -
spread.
To assemble,
spread about 1/4 cup
of the fava
bean mixture on each pita or flatbread.
My fridge is almost never without some kind
of creamy
bean spread, and when it is, typically that means my food processor is spinning on the counter.
Spread tortilla with thin layer
of refried
beans and top with grated cheddar.
Spread the salsa over top
of the
bean layer and then sprinkle the cheese across the top.
Spread the
bean mixture over top
of the cream cheese layer in the pie plate.
