of The Invasion
of the Body Snatchers (1956) as the DC MDs depended upon to save the day when a space shuttle crash leads to an epidemic among humans triggered by an extraterrestrial force.
Still, the cast — which also includes Tom Wilkinson, Ruth Wilson, William Fichtner, Barry Pepper, Helena Bonham - Carter and James Badge Dale — is strong, it looks gorgeous, it'll carry a score by Jack White, and we remain fond enough
of the original «Pirates»
film that we'll always be hopeful that Verbinski & co. can do the same thing for the
big budget Western.
I was blown away by how much I enjoyed this
film and am shocked to admit that it is one
of the most entertaining
big budget films of the year.
