The new playground is separated from the main sports activity area at one end by a castellated fence with seating and raised
log beds, planted with silver
birch and a selection
of flowering and fragrant shrubs.

I used a bunch
of plain old
birch logs this year and I have to admit it looks beautiful!
Not to be overshadowed by the pumpkins, I filled a basket full
of wooden seasonal fruits, a huricane vase full
of mini
birch wood
logs, and topped in off with a sprig
of colorful leaves.

birch logs are just the most wonderful centerpiece too, such a visual treat — I really love changes in height in the center
of the beautiful table!

log holder and maybe get some
of that decorative
birch wood for what your husband won't understand... because it's «pretty»
