Kate, I'm not obsessed with
quinoa (that whole unfurled prophylactic thing stops me in my tracks) but this salad looks terrific — I love the colors and flavor combo and
of course it uses both radishes from my farm share (occupying space in my fridge) and citrus from the band fruit fundraiser cases in the
breakfast nook!
I love
breakfast quinoa, though, so I need to make some
of this.
I have been sharing with people the wonders
of Quinoa but as a side dish or for
breakfast.
Or, make up a big batch
of quinoa pancakes and keep them in the freezer for an easy
breakfast on busy mornings.
I personally love spreading this on a slice
of my almond flour pumpkin bread for
breakfast or a snack, but it's also great on smoothie bowls, stirred into yogurt, on top
of quinoa muffins or added into energy balls!
This creamy vegan
breakfast quinoa porridge has is made with rich coconut milk, a touch

I've also found that it's a great food for any time

of thousands
of recipes, more than I could try to count, and they vary greatly from quesadillas to desserts and from casseroles to
breakfast dishes.
I made this for
breakfast this morning and found that, since
quinoa should be cooked until open (a little «tail» appears and the grains become tender), it took about 2 more tablespoons
of liquid and 5 more minutes
of cooking than the recipe calls for.
But, I don't always have the time to make a pot
of steel cut oats or fresh simmered
breakfast quinoa.
I can spare 2 minutes... so Almost Instant
Breakfast Quinoa is my hot cereal
of choice.
I love
quinoa porridge bowls, but I never thought
of topping my
breakfast with caramelized fruit.
Start with cooked

I've been meaning to try
quinoa in some sort
of breakfast recipe, particularly since I'm not a huge fan
of regular oatmeal (but bring on the baked oatmeal any day
of the week!)
