Do you think if I use cocoa powder instead
of cacoa that they'll come out tasting as good?
I've found that the bitterness
of the cacoa nibs is an amazing compliment to the subtle sweetness of the granola coating and it gives such a depth of flavour.

of foods high in oxalic acid, particularly spinach, beetroot,
cacoa and tahini.

of course, BUT if you have any influence on the supermarkets or retailers, pls try to influence the prices
of things like Raw
Cacoa, Almond Butter, Quinoa, real maple syrup.
I added some fresh blueberries to the top
of one half whilst cooking and
cacoa nibs to the other — both work really well — I like the juiciness and extra mositure the blueberries add, can see this is going to be a regular make.

of it I couldn't get my hands on any raw

And where you use Almond Milk would it be okay to use usual Cow's milk (we are new converts to this lifestyle and at the moment we don't drink Almond milk so don't normally have it in stock) Finally do you have a brand

Cacoa powder you use, I have found several online but read that not all are Raw.

I've been experimenting with DIY beauty products for a long time, and
cacoa butter is one
of my favorite ingredients.
I made these but I used a variety
of seeds (sesame, pumpkin, sunflower) instead
of the pecans, along with 1/4 cup shredded coconut, I used Mayvers peanut &
cacoa (2 ingredient spread) instead
of almond butter which is an Australian product and they were really delicious.
The carob gives a real richness to the compliment the
cacoa and the maca has a «malty» flavour which (depending how much you use) makes for a less bitter chocolate more
of the «milk chocolate» variety.
To make this a raw chocolate you would need to use raw
cacoa powder instead
of regular cocoa powder, but again this is optional and cocoa could be interchanged here is preferred.
However, for me the costs effectiveness and simplicity
of using coconut butter along with the fact that this chocolate is still so very good lead me to decide against using
cacoa butter.

cacoa is one
of the world's foods that highest in antioxidants.
Luckily for us the historical reputation
of dark chocolate (raw
cacoa) is more than just wishful thinking.
I made this tonight with
cacoa powder instead
of the cocoa.
But remember, the more
cacoa is processed, the more flavanols are destroyed, so the best source
of chocolate antioxidants comes from dark chocolate.
Look for chocolate with a
cacoa content
of 70 % or more.

of the evidence on
cacoa beans, but I would guess they are similar to cocoa / cacao as discussed here, possibly even better as they are less processed!
