Other meats - Often I add a little pepperoni or
chicken sausage that comes in a variety
of flavors, I like to use a spicy
chicken chorizo with Spanish dishes, for an example.
Between these flatbreads, this
chicken chipotle dish and these sweet corn cake &
chorizo poppers, I've been cooking up my share
of the spicy stuff lately.
When I spent a semester in Buenos Aires during college, I loved to go out with friends and order a parrilla mixta, which usually consisted
of grilled steak,
chicken,
chorizo, and often organ meats as well, with a big bowl
of herby chimichurri sauce and an even bigger bowl
of french fries on the side.
This Cajun classic is made with boneless, skinless
chicken thighs,
chorizo sausage, shrimp, onion, garlic, and plenty
of seasonings.

chicken thighs and sliced rounds
of chorizo until they were lightly caramelized, then set aside on a pan until ready to add to the final paella.
At Spoon River, John Wysor, says, «We smoke our own bacon and
chicken, and we make about five kinds
of chorizo, including a
chorizo borracho, made with Jose Cuervo Tequila, that we use in this dish.
Some
of my favorite dinners are; taco soup, enchiladas made with left over taco soup, cast iron skillet shepherds pie, chili with cast iron skillet cornbread,
chorizo egg scramble burritos, crock pot sausage meatballs and spaghetti, mac (aka any pasta) and cheese sauce with shredded

of gluten - free pasta an dairy - free cheese.
The restaurant may not serve burritos, but with a plate full
of chorizo sopes ($ 6), al pastor tacos ($ 3.50) and crispy
chicken taquitos accompanied by silky guacamole ($ 7), we're sure you won't miss them.
You could put in some
chorizo or some shredded
chicken in the place
of or in addition to the black beans.

Cut off the green parts
of the scallions and reserve for slicing later, then finely slice the white part and add this to the pan slicked with orange oil (this is where I added the bacon fat since my
chicken chorizo left no fat in the pan), along with the ground cumin, stirring everything together for a couple
of minutes over a gentle heat.
