They ran out
of the chicken parm and some kids were served something else — fish sticks, I think.
Just read this... I can only add that our adventure involved taking home a full serving
of Chicken Parm in the diaper bag... not in a takeout container... straight in the diaper bag.
My husband is a picky eater and was unsure of the idea
of a chicken parm casserole, but he loved it too.
So, I made this lighter version
of Chicken Parm served over spaghetti squash instead of pasta.

This is a great recipe and one
of the best, easiest
chicken parm recipe I've made.
I made it with
chicken broth instead
of water and added a bit more
Parm.
We have hot
chicken sandwiches (Frank's hot sauce on the
chicken, LOTS
of bleu cheese on toasted whatever - bread - I - have - on - hand, lettuce and tomato),
chicken alfredo (I just add a bit
of pressed garlic and pepper to the pan when the
chicken is almost done, throw in some cream, let it simmer and reduce, then add a bunch
of finely grated
parm, asiago, pecorino romano, or whatever I have), and then an absolute favorite: lemon pepper
chicken on Greek Salad.
These were always a favorite
of mine, and today I built it in the recipe builder, I use 98 % Lean Ground
chicken and no
parm cheese and it came out to 4 S - Points for 2....
To me, it has a very distinct taste that I really like — I use it in «
chicken»
parm, «
chicken» noodle soup, the aforementioned hot dogs, and lots
of other stuff.
This
chicken parm can be served with pasta (my kids» and husband's preference) or with crusty bread (my choice) or just as is, with a side
of veggies or salad.
Chicken parm is one
of my fave sandwiches.
