disability in
children whose mother received an alcohol - related diagnosis during pregnancy, compared
with children whose mothers received a diagnosis at other time points.23 28 However, the results
of the current study suggest that the relationship between exposure and attendance may not be driven by the biological effects
of in utero alcohol exposure
alone.
