I used
coconut oil instead
of avocado and almond
meal +
coconut flour instead
of coconut flour + arrowroot flour..
Coconut flour and almond
meal combine to keep this grain free, and stevia takes the place
of sugar.
Same story with
coconut and arrowroot flour... neither
of which are available here... I was thinking os using oat flour or almond
meal, or a mix
of the 2... would it work?
Follow everything in this recipe until the very end: instead
of coconut flour and dark chocolate chips, add the same amount
of Raw Cacao Powder (plus a little almond
meal to thicken it up a bit) and White Chocolate Chips.
Meanwhile... Make the crust: — Mix together almond and cashew
meal (or whatever you have) with a mix
of honey and

meal, fortunately the texture is excellent, 1/2 cup roasted & mashed Delicata Squash, one tablespoon
of Ghee, one tablespoon
of Coconut oil instead
of 1/4 cup, substituted Hemp Seed for Flax
meal and Volia!
I made this tonight and used 1.5 cups almond flour, 1/2 cup tapioca starch, subbed chia
meal for flax
meal, subbed avocado oil for
coconut oil, and added 1.5 T caraway seeds to give it a bit
of a «rye bread taste».
Mine worked with these substitutions -

of coconut, and subbed Trader Joe's ground almond
meal (I pretty much exclusively use the TJ's almond
meal when almond flour is called for, and have never had problems).

1 recipe Pie Crust dough or uncooked 10 - inch gluten - free pie crust,
of choice 2 cups raw pecan halves 1/3 cup milk
of choice 2 tablespoons flaxseed
meal 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract 1/2 teaspoon sea salt 1/2 cup pure maple syrup 1/2 cup
coconut nectar, brown rice syrup or agave nectar 1/4 cup brown sugar or unrefined
coconut palm sugar 3 tablespoons butter or dairy - free alternative 2 tablespoons all - purpose flour blend
of choice Egg wash (1 egg + 1 tablespoon water) or milk
of choice
2,5 dl natural (greek) yogurt 1 dl oat
meal 0,5 dl frozen lingonberries 2 tbsp shredded
coconut pinch
of ground gloves
So, as you can see, in the long run adding
coconut oil to your
meals can help you eat fewer calories throughout the course
of a day.
What I love about this recipe is that it involves a handful
of affordable and accessible ingredients, is effortless, can be made in bulk, pairs perfectly with toast, has a hint
of sweetness with the
coconut milk and apples, and will compliment any
meal or can even be enjoyed by itself!
Ginger, curry paste and
coconut milk add a lot
of flavor to this healthy
meal.
This rich, moist chocolate cake uses a mixture
of coconut flour and almond
meal as its base.

coconut aminos, and you have have a delicious
meal in less than 10 minutes.
A couple
of things though, I used almond flour /
