congestion pricing is not only the best solution for raising money for transit, but also for slashing
congestion in New York City,» said Matthiessen, who added Move New York was in the process
of reaching out to Cuomo's office to discuss concepts.
Cuomo is seemingly on board with the idea; so is Andy Byford, the new president
of New York City Transit, who recently
told City and State that if
congestion pricing can «help expedite the pace
of improvements and make the system work better» then «I'm all for it.»
