Mix the soup well, and add 3 tablespoons fresh minced parsley and 2 cups
of diced cooked

My current favorite version calls for shredded carrots and uses
diced ham instead
of bacon.
You can be creative by adding a variety
of ingredients such as sea salt, cracked pepper,
diced ham, bacon bits, shredded cheeses,
diced vegetables and fresh herbs.
And for a bit
of a change, use
diced ham for the bacon.
