of having a healthy, happy, well socialized puppy, innocently do not realize that they must protect their puppies from being exposed to the dreaded
Parvo virus that is often contracted from sniffing the feces
of other infected
dogs in such places as public parks.

The thought
of exposing your puppy to a
dog with parvo might seem shocking, irresponsible and terrifying but the science is actually similar to the use
of vaccines.
Dogs with parvo develop a high fever, lethargy and loss
of appetite.
What's different about this variant is not that the vaccine isn't effective against it, and not that adult
dogs can get it, too (they can get older strains
of parvo, too, but incidence is much lower than in puppies because adult
dogs are easier to vaccinate effectively), but that that virus has characteristics that make it harder to diagnose
with the currently standard tests.
Most
dogs with parvo virus infection may appear asymptomatic (showing no canine

dogs can not be specifically treated, earlier supportive care is only way to save life
of patient, therefore it is always recommended that along
with fluid therapy, natural remedies and herbal extracts should be used in priority.
Sure, that puppy
with parvo might be able to be saved, but he'd need a foster home or else may face euthanasia, because a
dog with an extremely contagious and often fatal illness can put the other 15 puppies in the shelter at extreme risk

with very serious intentions.
And once you've had a
dog with parvo in your home, don't bring an unvaccinated
dog into your home or you risk infection and illness
of that pet; only bring vaccinated and protected
dogs into your home.
Unfortunately, both Lara and Cody are very sick
with parvo virus and have been rushed to Romania Animal Rescue by their rescuer who has lots
of dogs and can't afford the medical treatment required to save Cody and Lara's lives.
Prior to placement, all
of our
dogs are spayed / neutered, receive rabies, distemper /
parvo, and bordatella vaccines, have heartworm and intestinal worm tests, and are supplied
with heartworm and flea preventative.
