** I highly recommend that you use fresh sage, but you can substitute 2 - 3
teaspoons of dried sage if you don't have it.
You can definitely substitute with dried herbs, just cut the amount that you use, instead of 1/2 tablespoon use only 1/2
teaspoon of dried sage and thyme.
