Visiting
squadrons of eagle rays and manta rays are frequently sighted, and patrolling reef sharks and barracuda add an element of excitement.
Sarah has also had one of the luckiest first dives as she saw a big
group of eagle rays, turtle, nudibranches, cuttlefish, shrimps, crabs, pipe fish, peacock mantis shrimp and loads more.
There were a
lot of eagle rays seen swooping along the reef and even a tiger shark was spotted in the open ocean.
You will see eels and lobsters near overhangs, as well as
plenty of eagle rays gliding through the shallows.
Then Crystal Rock which features amazing soft corals and a good chance of sharks, turtles, giant wrasse, a real fish soup dive with a good
chance of eagle rays too.
By the end of the trip when I lay down to rest, what flashed upon my inward eye were memories of encounters with manta rays,
schools of eagles rays, a mighty whale shark up close, nurse sharks and stingrays buzzing around me, and getting lost in big schools of fish.
At Brand's Hatch, you could be accompanied by shoals of jacks as you make your way across the channel to see sharks and the special
sight of eagle rays.
Divers can expect to see hard and soft corals, sponges, sea fans and a wealth of colourful reef fish as well as the occasional shark and passing
squadron of eagle rays.
As an advanced diver, you can venture out to the drop - off and sometimes be rewarded with sightings
of eagle rays and schooling southern sennet.
The bay that Angelfish blue hole is located in, is home to a school
of eagle rays and turtles.
