One
of the earliest recipes I wrote for the blog was called Squash and Sweet Potato Pancakes and was essentially a chickpea burger made with mashed - up sweet potatoes and squash.
This was my first chili recipe on the blog, and one
of my earliest recipes ever.
This vegan stuffing is a remake from one
of my earliest recipes — a veganized variation of the stuffing I grew up eating on Thanksgiving.
This little website of mine is now two years old and
some of those early recipes are a bit, well, cringe - worthy.

Interesting enough, olive oil crops up often in
some of the early recipes, including those from turn - of - the - century California.
One
of my earlier recipes that I posted just happened to be riff on Shake Shack's Date Shake, which was complete with ice cream, whipped cream and a cherry on top.
Quite a few
of my earlier recipes I did not have a convection oven so that's why those recipes did not post an oven temp for convection.
A LOT
of my early recipes could do with a re-shoot.
Unlike
some of her earlier recipes on her blog where some hard - to - find raw food ingredients were used and things like dehydrators etc, most of the recipes in the book use everyday ingredients which I love.
So what better way to celebrate my year of blogging than to revisit one
of my early recipes.

of my earlier recipes that's also a huge favorite of mine and with readers.
While there's no real limit to the number of connections the IFTTT service can make,

of The Joy
of Cooking, which first appeared in 1931, included a
recipe for a Peanut Butter and Bacon Sandwich.
Having been diagnosed with an eating disorder
earlier this year, which I believe in hindsight developed over years
of unrealised food intolerances, discovering your
recipe books, blog and the fabulous MaE deli has genuinely been integral to my process
of recovery.
This
recipe looks like something I would get out
of bed
early for.

Since I had already made my usual Gingerbread Men
recipe earlier this season, I decided that I would branch out and try a new one for my second round
