The characters are extremely well written (kudos to writer Welsh) and acted by an ensemble
of excellent actors.
As a result, many
of the excellent actors are not given the chance to show their talent (Whoopi Goldberg, Jared Leto, and Vanessa Redgrave are two examples).
It's impossible to imagine Disney's Beauty and the Beast without Lumiere, Cogsworth or Mrs. Potts, and with top notch digital effects and the voices
of excellent actors like Ewan McGregor, Ian McKellan and Emma Thompson playing them, these characters vividly come to life, as do Madame de Garderobe (Audra McDonald), Chip (Nathan Mack), Plumette (Gugu Mbatha - Raw) and the newly - created Maestro Cadenza (Stanley Tucci), a composer transformed into a harpsichord.
WHY: Despite boasting a pair
of excellent actors in Clive Owen and Morgan Freeman, «Last Knights» is a disappointingly generic medieval fantasy flick that's missing much of what makes the genre so enjoyable.
This is unfortunate because the plot is an interesting one and the cast consist
of some excellent actors.
A disparate group
of excellent actors including Sarah Paulson, Bob Odenkirk, Matthew Rhys, Carrie Coon, Alison Brie and David Cross are the supporting cast, and in most cases supporting is all they're really required to do — though Rhys is very compelling in his short amount of screen time as whistleblower Daniel Ellsberg.

This amazing
actor and the
excellent cast all excell in this incredibly moving and tragic tale
of one extraordinary man.
A dozen or more
excellent character
actors keep things fairly interesting, and the cast includes everyone from the Young
Actor of the Moment, Timothee Chalamet (as a marginal member
of Blocker's gang), to Rory Cochrane as Blocker's longtime friend, a ruined man with too much blood on his hands.
Writer - director Derek Cianfrance knew he was dealing with a story full
of coincidences when he adapted M.L. Stedman's novel The Light Between Oceans, so he avoided melodrama by holding himself and his

The thrill comes from the compulsively watchable dynamic between the two leads (non-professional

of them), the
excellent supporting cast (also non-professionals), and the fun use
of multiple locations throughout the bustling metropolis.

There are as well such not - so - incidental pleasures as John Rubinstein's lovely and serviceable musical score, and a cast

of the cast is comprised
of supporting
actors doing
excellent jobs in appearances that vary from a few scenes (Paul Dano) to a significant chunk
of the running length (Emily Blunt).
The other characters are given very little in terms
of depth, but the
actors portraying them do an
excellent job in endearing themselves to the viewer.
By contrast, the very fine character
actor Catherine Keener is
excellent as his no - nonsense partner: she's every inch the believable special agent, controlled, efficient, dedicated, human but highly disciplined (as was, come to think
of it, Clint Eastwood in the far superior Secret Service drama «In the Line
of Fire»).
Everyone knows about different acting methods and a lot
of people knew about what Carrey did on the set
of Man on the Moon but obviously we never saw it, but that's what this documentary is and although it's not spectacular or anything, it gives another look at the work
of the
actor and it becomes an
excellent companion to the film and especially serves as a testament
of one
of Jim Carrey's best acting jobs.
With an
excellent cast
of character
actors in all
of the roles, as well as terrific costumes, sets and special effects, no expense was spared in getting the look and feel
of the eerie world the Addams» inhabit just right.

of the film is highly manipulative.The lead actress is toiling hard in the fields, yet at all times wears lipstick, foundation, rough and mascara.Even some
of the males wear lipstick throughout.Everybody is drop dead gorgeous, no mud or gore in sight.The whole film is suffused with too much romantic zeal and sentiment.The two lead
actors are
excellent, but as usual Tom Sturridge is poor.He fails to convince he could ever be the dashing colonial soldier with his thin, weedy style
of acting.One star
We are instead given a number
of impressive, but token flashy performances by veteran
actors in tough guy bit parts (Pete Postlethwaite and Chris Cooper as irredeemable lifelong criminals) and newcomers in «dramatic stretches» (The Hurt Locker's Jeremy Renner who is good (again) but not as great as the star - makers would have you believe, and most notably, Blake Lively,
excellent as a drug - addled neighborhood floozy).
(One clever bit
of casting that shows up here is Derek Jacobi as Senator Gracchus; Jacobi is an
excellent actor above all, but it also provides an allusion to the classic I, Claudius in which Jacobi played Emperor Claudius — underscored by the fact that Commodus tells young Lucius a story about Claudius in one scene in Gladiator.)
A great assembling
of actors,
excellent control by director Martin McDonagh and a vicious script make Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri a winner.
Not the fault
of the
actors but when you have the
excellent Danny Huston (30 Days
of Night) playing an evil German officer then there is the potential to create a proper villain, a mad genius with grand plans for world domination during a time
of great sorrow for the rest
of the world, and instead his General Ludendorff is resorted to cracking open gas tablets that give him Hulk - like strength for no real reason and never really pays off in any way; in one scene he locks a group
of people in a room with a deadly nerve gas and then decides to snort on his magic capsule before cackling and running off - camera like Jack Nicholson's Joker.
From the beginning constant shot, to the great collection
of actor, showing off some
excellent acting skills, this time there are some comic touches, great stunts.
Rockwell, who won Best Supporting
Actor for his performance as a dim cop on a short and normally racist fuse, is funny but couldn't be accused
of underplaying, while the somewhat overlooked Harrelson, as the police chief who unexpectedly turns out to be hiding not just a conscience but a tragic secret too, is quietly
excellent.
Solondz takes another hilariously pitch - black exploration
of human behaviour with a film populated by
excellent actors playing seriously messed - up characters.
The film boasts an amazing cast — Casey Affleck who can do no wrong playing a psychotic creep; Rooney Mara who has proved herself a solid versatile
actor and desperately needs to shrug off the lingering Goth image festering from the wretched Dragon Tattoo film; and a slew

actor - turned - director Raúl Arévalo's debut feature The Fury
of a Patient Man, the mesmerizing Ruth Díaz was rewarded for her
