The verisimilitude she creates in putting small town Sacramento California life on

of the Catholic high school experience, it all makes Lay Bird feel so lively, and another wonderful performance from Saoirse Ronan and an
excellent supporting cast (Lucas Hedges, Tracy Letts, Timothee Chalamet, Lois Smith, Beanie Feldstein, etc etc) is the topping on the cake.
Although some
of these high profile stars are relegated to smaller roles than others, the ensemble cast present an

screen chemistry and banter to rival Stallone's gang in the EXPENDABLES films.
He gives a winning performance as Mee, a real - life writer who went through many
