For dogs that are in the early stages of training and still showing a
lot of fearful behavior, that is the place they need to be for theirs and others safety.
Expose your cat to a variety of social situations and environments when they are still young (up to the time they are 14 weeks of age) to decrease the
likelihood of fearful behavior; kittens that are deprived of social and environmental exposure until 14 weeks of age may become habitually fearful, which can be avoided with only a little exposure during this formative time
As the storm or the noise builds, you may not be able to keep her attention on the activity, but it might delay the
start of the fearful behavior for longer and longer each time you do it.
Start when she first alerts you to the noise and is not yet showing a
lot of fearful behavior, but is only watchful.
Although there is no magic wand for dogs when it comes to aggression, with patience and perseverance, you can overcome 99.9 %
of fearful behaviors.
