Flash Fiction Anthology

Atticus Review is a daily online journal that

Four years since that first gallop — and several falls later — I am thrilled that several
of my
flashes and my essay, Memoir to
Flash Fiction and Back Again, feature as part
of a collection from four other memoirists in our newly
published Anthology:
I would never have dared splash such a story on the walls
of the Summerhouse if not for
flash fiction and the wonderful writing freedom it unleashed (and a few
of you telling me you enjoyed it when I first
published it here, thank you!).
On the other hand, a more specific goal (e.g. earn 50 rejections for
fiction of 1,000 + words) could have dissuaded me from writing more
flash or submitting nonfiction that will now be
published.
Tomorrow, the garden gnomes will
publish their first
flash fiction story as a part
of this month's Flim - Flim Game.

Writing
flash fiction (which I still do over at Carrot Ranch but haven't been
publishing here lately purely because
of time constraints) has helped my writing in so many ways, so I have both Sarah and Charli — chief Buckaroo at Carrot Ranch!
Also, without blogging and the support
of all those people, I probably wouldn't have had the guts to self -
publish not only one but two ebooks / collections
of my
flash fiction.
Prior to writing the Charlotte Anthony Mysteries I self
published a small book
of flash fiction stories.
Originally
published in 2011, this second edition contains 9 original stories and 4
flash fiction pieces released from my story vault, all written in the tradition
of R. A. Lafferty, Robert Sheckley and Douglas Adams.
