One
of the shortcomings
of the entire Kindle line

of Kobos playbook by allowing users to load in their own
fonts they buy or download online.
If the standard black type and white background doesn't appeal to you, you can choose among dozens
of pre-selected
font and background colors, and save those
selections to one
of two themes, labeled Day and Night.
One thing about Onyx's ebook readers is they have a bunch weird
font choices, but it turns out it's really easy to add your own
selection of font types.
There are a few things about the Sony PRS - 650 that could use improving, mainly the same things that are listed on the PRS - 350 review: the lack
of styling options, such as changing line - spacing, margins,
font type, etc, all
of which requires adding
fonts and editing the CSS file
of an ebook to change styling; the fact that landscape mode breaks pages into two sections for ebooks, showing duplicate sentences; and other minor annoyances like having to go through multiple menu

I have provided a

The Kindle Fire comes with a solid set
of reading tools that offers very good controls for changing
font type and size, line spacing, margins and what Kindle calls color mode — three
selections that let you change whether you want dark characters against a light background or light characters against a dark background, and the contrast level.

After checking out the interface for the application, I was pleased to find that it includes a
font enlargement
selection, and that all
of the navigation and menu options are intuitive and easy to use.
BB eBooks typically advises against this practice because 1) many readers select their own
font to use, 2) every eReading device comes equipped with its own
selection of fonts that the user can choose, and 3) if a
font like DeJaVu Sans or Charis SIL is embedded that has a massive set
of glyphs to cover multiple languages, it can create close to 1 MB
of overhead.
Yes, there are different
fonts and color
selections, etc, but I've been able to set each one up almost the same and I'm quite happy to read my books on all
of them.
